Rome RAFTs

I found it hard to make a RAFT, I rather just read what I found and have it over and done with, which my group and I did. However, I did enjoy learning about the Romans religion, I found it very interesting and easy because I know quite a bit about the Greek gods. I enjoyed Joanna, Chelsi and Kate's presentation the most, it's kept me thinking and kept my interest.

Rome article PMI

Plus:
-Romans had the best budget, the states have the best budget
-both have and had large armies
-choose stations and watch how things play out with people doing your bidding
-the states take places with ease
-they place things of theirs to leave a footprint in different countries

Minus:
-the states haven't formed any formal colonies, the Romans did
-Internet has become a military tool
-rule by getting others to do your work
-Rome and states failed foresight
-both try to have things done their way

Interesting:
-military was romes superpower then, it's the states now
-the states use roman tactics without failing, not realizing they are roman
- The United States appears to have taken these tips from their Roman counterparts. Rome realized that if they were to last as a World power
-Rome provided baths to people, states provide shopping and fattening food and beverages
-The Roman and American models of government and capitalism are based on the principles of progress through utilization of it’s work force with the lure of the good life as an individual’s goal

Evaluations

I've never really cared about evaluations, I'd look at the mark I got and if the teacher said anything then forget. I would always want a good mark and sometimes I do get good marks. If I did get a good mark, I wouldn't care, bad mark, oh well. Evaluations never really mattered to me and honestly, they still don't. I'm happy my group got a good mark but its done and over with now.

Native presentation

I found the presentation very interesting. I only thought there was the Cree and the Lakota. I didn't even know that they got their names changed and that some of the names they were called came from the French. I went to a school that talked about natives lots but they didn't teach us what Athena's dad taught us. We only got to learn some of the words and how to make bannock. I really enjoyed the presentation.

Ancient presentations

I didn't like presenting, I have never really liked presenting because I am very shy. I was happy to get it over and done with though. Also, I felt like I did most of the work in my group, researching, making script (that was horrible) and making the prezi. Now, I'm just happy that it is done.
